Consultation: It all begins with a phone call. This exploratory call will give us an opportunity to learn about your project and for you to get to know my aesthetic and design process. Once you are ready to proceed, we can schedule a two-hour face to face consultation. During this meeting, we will discuss your design goals, budget, and timeline. I will also take measurements of the space and gather any relevant information about your home or commercial space.
Design Concept: Using the information gathered during the consultation, a design concept will be developed for your space. This will include a layout, colour palette, and selection of furniture and decor. We will present this concept to you in the form of a floor plans, mood boards and 3-D renderings.
Design Development: After you approve the design concept, the design development phase will begin. This is when details of the design are finalised, including the selection of materials, finishes, furniture and lighting. I will also provide detailed elevations and specifications for all custom pieces.
Procurement: Once the design is finalised, I will source and purchase all the materials and furnishings needed for your project. We have established relationships with a wide range of vendors and can provide access, in some cases, to exclusive products and trade discounts.
Installation: Once all trades have completed their works to our specifications, I will oversee the installation of all the materials and furnishings to ensure everything is installed correctly and to your satisfaction. If you choose, I can also handle any necessary coordination with tradespeople, such as builders, decorators, electricians and plumbers.
Styling and Accessorising: The final touch to bring the space to life is styling and accessorising. I will add the final touches by placing the art, soft furnishings, lighting and accessories to complete the space.
Project Close-Out: Once the project is complete, we will conduct a final walk-through with you to ensure that you are completely satisfied with the results. I will also provide you with a detailed list of all the products used in your space, including information on care, warranties and maintenance.
